Last updated: 8 September 2026 These terms apply when you request a quote, book an appointment, or otherwise use the services of Furniture Assembly Ottawa ("we", "us", or "our") in Ottawa, ON, and the surrounding region. By booking a service, you agree to these terms.
Quotes and Pricing
Prices shown on this website, including the cost calculator, are estimates based on typical Ottawa-area pricing for similar work. The final flat-rate price is confirmed with you before we schedule the appointment, and may change if the scope of work differs from what was described when the estimate was given, for example if a box contains more items than expected or if furniture is found to be damaged on arrival.
Scheduling and Access
You are responsible for making sure our technician can access the work area, and that any items to be assembled are on site and, where applicable, unopened until the appointment. Rush and same-day requests depend on technician availability and become firm only once we confirm the appointment with you directly.
Furniture Condition and Parts
We are not responsible for missing, damaged, or defective parts supplied by the manufacturer or retailer. If we find an issue with the parts or hardware supplied, we will let you know so you can contact the manufacturer or retailer directly; we may be able to return to complete the job once replacement parts arrive.
Workmanship
We assemble and install furniture with reasonable skill and care. Any workmanship assurance we provide is set out in your written quote or invoice for that specific job; we do not offer a blanket promise beyond what is stated there in writing.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, so that time slot can be offered to another customer.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page is the current one.
